Bugsie. I have sent you and email with information about St. Brieuc. The Western Communal Cemetery contains over 90 Commonwealth casualties with the majority being RN sailors.

What a great read; my wife and I will also be visiting RAF graves this weekend in Talence and Ambares both near Bordeaux. South West France also has many such graves as those visited in Finistere. We are also impressed how the local French folk take such good care of these graves. "We will still remember them!"

Brittany4ever. I have done some additional research and think the nearest CWGC site to you is at Loudeac. There are 2 burials and I believe they are Flight Sergeant Douglas Ross and Sergeant Joseph O'Hare. Both men were air gunners with the RAF's 50 Squadron. They died when their Hampden MkI bomber (aircraft number AD834) crashed on 28 April 1941.

The Loudeac Communal Cemetery is south-east of the town, on the eastern side of the Rue Ernest Renan. The burials are in the southern (far right) corner, at the end of the path from the entrance.
