We have some brand new wood windows from Lapeyre and a few of them are leaking - fit seems excellent - does anyone have any sugestions or ideas? |

They shouldnt leak, but this is often a problem with inward opening windows. We just cannot stop one of our windows leaking when the rain is driven into them by the strong wind despite trying all sorts of things.
The thing to do is to do what the French do, close the shutters in bad weather conditions, at least it'll keep the rain off them. |

| Closing shutters would be good - but we dont have them. What did you try to stop leaks?

| We've never been able to fix one of the leaks, tried refitting it, putting in new seal, making sure the little channel for draining the window wasnt blocked, put on a larger 'drip', a piece of wood giving a larger overhang. 5 years down the line, a small container to catch the drips inside. We dont have shutters either. |
