I too have just bought some really lovely cards xmas & birthday from the CBJ fayre at callac the other weekend, from a lady called Christina. I believe she lives at Rostrenen and you can order them all year round or even has alot of them in stock. I thought they were a great price at €2.00 for one or €1.70 for 10 or more.
Much nicer than the ones you get at the supermarket, and covers every occasion, births, marriages etc.
Her phone number on the back of the catalogue is: 0296 291 967.
I will certainly be going to get some more. |

They also have everything you need for Christmas such a tags, giftwrap, crackers, tonnes of gift bags and bottle bags, tablecoths, napkins, every card you can imagine (with some lovely handmade ones for just 1 euro) as well as a fully stocked English Grocery. I also got a singing and dancing Rudolph xmas stocking for only 4 euro - it makes me smile every time. |
| sosad replied on 03/12/2009 at 12:22 e-mail sosad | I have to say that this message was not to advertise anything about Xmas cards but about the fact that the PIN FRANÇAIS in Rostronen is selling xmas cards, spices and other odds and sods to give all the profit to our Charity which is helping animals (shelter) and fights activelly against cruelty and mistreatment against animals. We are going to their open day this week-end (4-5 december) to meet the people who would be interested in meeting us and eventually join our organisation. our website: http://www.sosad.org page in english: http://www.sosad.org/pageID_8946176.html and if you want to donate you are welcome. Winter is a hard time for animals and some pets...We always need kennels, quilts and baskets,...etc. On the website, there is also a link toward our membership form on the first page.
