Hi Ron how does one know how many megabytes one is getting. I wouldn't say mine was any slower than usual but I'm getting really fed up with the box, it keeps dropping out, my sister tried for 3 days to get hold of me this week and my box wasn't on line and twice today while talking to england it dropped out. Is this the weather or the box or Alice do you know?

I use this site to measure my provider's speed http://www.speedtest.net/

It varies according to the time of day, probably due to usage but it seems to have deteriorated lately and is pretty poor at some times of day. I don't get any problems with drop out I have to say but I don't use it for telecoms. I don't see how weather could be a factor but performance certainly seems to be suffering of late!

Well Ron I visited the site you reccomended and apparently I get 1.3mg and my server is in Geneva. No wonder I don't get a fast service. I think either I did something wrong or they did!!!

Hi Ron

I have also been finding Alice very slow recently. My biggest problem is the fact that a couple of days ago I noticed that they had changed the layout of their Webmail page, when I tried to login with the same password I have used for the past 4 years it said that access was denied.! It now lets me in 1 time in 8 or 9 attempts but when I get into my mails and click to read one it shoots back to the login page and denies access again. I have also clicked on my address book to find that it is now empty.!!! Also all my saved folders have disappeared. It's driving me mad. Anyone else having the same problems ?
