Belfry dating from the end of 15th century. Rising to a height of 30 metres at the parapet walkway, the tower was gifted its largest bell in 1507 by the Duchess Anne. This tidal-powered mill was built upriver on the Rance sea inlet in the 15th century. Its paddle wheels finally stopped turning in about 1930.
